Celtics need to draft Murray in 3rd round .Then trade 16,23,31,35 to New Orleans get Back in lottery Get Held. Trade IT And Bradley with next yr’s Celtics no.1 for Butler

    • Why would a playoff team trade two of their better players (including their best player currently)? I get trading Thomas for Butler, although that is crazy, but planning to build a core around Murray/Hield means the Celtics are pushing off a serious contention for another two or three years at the least.

Thomas will never get you Butler .you would still have crowder and smart and 2 three shooters better than Thomas .He is good for regular season ..When they amp up the D in the playoffs he sucks.strike while the iron is hot.

Number one your getting a. Player that plays both. Ends of the floor .the players your getting in the draft are better shooters than Thomas .thomas is good for regular season when they amp up the D in the playoffs he’s ineffective .you would still have Smart,Crowder , couldn’t trade Thomas for Butler the Bull’s would laugh at you .you would still have to max contracts available.Butler will be more of a drawing card for free agent’s than Thomas .
