Kristaps Porzingis plans on working out with Dirk Nowitzki over the offseason, Marc Berman of the Post reports. While Mark Cuban initially wasn’t thrilled with the idea, the Mavs owner came to his senses, saying “It was all in fun. It’s up to Dirk.’’
Porzingis, meanwhile, intends to take advantage of an opportunity to learn from an all-time great.
“I’m sure it will help me out and improve my game, hopefully, unless Mark Cuban says no,’’ Porzingis said. “Dirk is a guy who can really help my game. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to work with him, a few days to get on the court with him and pick his brain.”

The Knicks gave up 39 pts 1st quarter to the Nets and phil Jackson is still preaching triangle session over defense. The Knicks are a losing dysfunctional franchise because of Phil Jackson turmoil, Melo shenanigans and Rose awol. As long as these 3 knuckleheads are around the Knicks will be a mediocre team.
Tell me how 3 games ago KP took 0 shots in the 3rd quarter and last 2 games he took 1 shot in the 4 the quarter ?I blame the coach for not telling the players to stop throwing the ball to Carmelo and throw it to KP. Randle should be playing at least 25 minutes a game to see if he could be the future point guard. He can break down the D, pass the ball,shoot 3s, and best of all play better D then any of the other guards.
Randle’s D leaves a lot to be desired. I figure that’s the main reason why he hasn’t seen any PT from even crappy teams like the Knicks or Sixers. That being said, at least he tries on D which is better than all of the current Knicks guards other than C.Lee.
Phil has got to go. None of his trades have worked out and he’s only really drafted well which can be chalked up to luck at this point. If he wants to run the triangle, he needs to coach it, not conduct mini-clinics in March(!)
Knicks need to hit the reset button. And that begins with Dolan staying out of operations…after they replace Phil.
I like our coach. It’s Jackson that needs to go.
