When Stephen Curry and the Warriors brought Kevin Durant to the Bay Area they did so with situations like the one the team is going through right now in mind. Marcus Thompson of The Athletic writes that having Durant available to lead the way while Curry recovers from an ankle injury can be a game changer for the franchise.
Prior to Durant’s arrival, the Warriors struggled to win with Curry on the sidelines, let alone dominate. Having the two available to support each other – as Curry did when Durant was out toward the end of last season – could extend both of their primes.
As Thompson writes, we may not remember this particular stretch of games where Durant filled in for Curry but the fact that we’ve seen the two stars willingly share the offensive load at different times over the course of the past two seasons will benefit the team for years.

That espn insider is garbage. Why would you give up all that for a rental?
Yeah, I don’t particularly like any of them to be honest. The Houston one with Clint Capela going to L.A. is particularly absurd.
Clippers have been saying they want 2 out of 3 if not all 3 combination of Middleton, Henson, and Brogdon. Has been common knowledge for some time.

Huge huge mistake to trade anything other than Henson, Vaughn and Teletovic, maybe Delly too, but I like him with the Bucks.
Jordan is a one dimensional player who won’t make them suddenly contenders. Milwaukee should not be in win-now mode, as Giannis is still a year or two away from being mature and well-rounded enough to contend for a ring – he needs a jump shot!
Adding Jordan would clog the lane up even more. In fact, Henson does everything you’d want Jordan to do, and without any of the drama Deandre Jordan brings.
I think the Bucks should just sit tight and develop together. A different coach would help more than any player exchange.
