The Grizz at 3, 16 and 32… A good chance to kickstart a rebuild.
I will never forgive the Jazz for this
Not that anyone cares, but here is my mock draft (not an expert lmao):
1. AJ
2. Darryn P
3. Cam Boozer
4. Caleb Wilson
5. Keaton Wagler
6. Darius Acuff Jr
7. Kingston Flemings
8. Mikel Brown Jr
9. Brayden Burries
10. Nate Ament
11. Yaxel Lendeborg
12. Koa Peat
13. Aday Mara
14. Labaron Philon Jr
I could see Acuff going at 4 if he has a really good pre draft process, bht I cant see the Clippers picking him because of Garland. Also, if okc loses to the Spurs I could see them getting Mara.
Yes, I’m high on Koa Peat. But dont blame me, blame Fiba’s U19 world cup.
Dark horse- Memphis trades # 3 to the Thunder for 12, 18, 37, and future draft picks
Thunder pick up a premium prospect to add to their already deep team potentially replacing someone they can’t sign long term
Memphis reloads its roster with
12, 18, 37 from Thunder
16, 32
5 top 40 picks reloads the roster around Morant
Then Griz can use 18 and 32 to dump Ja.
I think Memphis takes the BPA at 3. This is a loaded draft so the talent from 3 to 12 won’t really be that big of a drop. Plus they drafted Wells and Coward last few years. They need a PF with trading JJJ. I can see them taking Boozer and be happy with their core going forward.
Whine pi pile you Trae the 3 pick? Thats nuts.
The league rewarded the awful teams who at least added talent at the deadline instead of rewarding teams for being bad and not even trying to get better until the offseason.
