Steve Kerr has agreed to a two-year deal to return as Warriors head coach, agents Dan Eveloff and Rick Smith of Priority Sports tell ESPN’s Shams Charania (Twitter link). No details on the new contract have been released, but Charania hears that Kerr will continue to be the NBA’s highest-paid coach (Twitter link).

You would hope a guy would rest during the season and then show out in the playoffs, but Kawhi doesn’t do that.

If the price is cheap enough you have to take the chance (and he might be a better value proposition relative to Giannis given his own asking price), but I’d almost hope he’s too expensive so you don’t even have to consider that route. And overworking Curry in the regular season with a guy likely to miss time is not a recipe for success.
You ever think maybe he likes coaching the Warriors? Sure the chance of another chip is low but people will still go pay to watch. This isn’t the kind of team you can reboot… enjoy the hoops.
If you added Giannis to this team they would make the Finals no matter who was coaching.
If GSW was going to rebuild they would keep their picks and remove Kerr.
This proves they are going to trade all their picks for Giannis+more.
There’s other teams that have better offers for Giannis than Warriors
Spurs for example have Dylan Harper Devin Vassel and Carter Bryant that works money wise and pair Giannis with Wemby
Spurs and OKC have both openly stated they are not interested in acquiring Giannis. Their names are off the table. Why did you put them back?

Times do we have to say this Giannis is not going to the Spurs? Wemby is probably one of the best young players we have and his attitude towards the game. He’s old school. He does not want to play with the competition or stack his team. So that trade is not happening. The only other place is New York or Golden State.
