The Grizzlies and Warriors will compete for the Summer League Championship in Las Vegas on Sunday at 8:00 pm CT, the league announced (via Twitter).
Memphis defeated Houston, 101-90, in the first semifinal matchup on Saturday to advance to the final.
Cedric Coward, a 2025 lottery pick, led the way for the Grizzlies with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes. Two-way guards Javon Small (17 points, seven rebounds six assists in 33 minutes) and Jahmai Mashack (15 points, four rebounds in 16 minutes) had big games as well.
Cameron Boozer, the third overall pick in last month’s draft, recorded 12 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes, though he shot just 3-of-13 from the field. Memphis has also been starting a pair of former first-round picks — Olivier-Maxence Prosper and Taylor Hendricks — who could be vying for a spot on the regular season roster.
Former NC State guard Quadir Copeland had a game-high 24 points (on 9-of-13 shooting) in 27 minutes for the Rockets. Copeland, who went undrafted in June, signed a two-way contract with Houston earlier this month.
Golden State survived a close game (92-88) against the Lakers to earn a rematch against Memphis in Sunday’s final. The Grizzlies beat the Warriors by 21 points on Tuesday to hand the Dubs their lone loss in Las Vegas.
Graham Ike (16 points, 11 rebounds in 26 minutes), two-way guard LJ Cryer (16 points, four assists, in 29 minutes), No. 11 overall pick Yaxel Lendeborg (15 points, four rebounds, three assists, two blocks, one steal in 29 minutes), and Chance McMillian (14 points without missing a shot in 12 minutes) were among the top performers in a balanced effort from the Warriors.
Ike, who spent the past three seasons playing a leading role for Gonzaga, is expected to sign an Exhibit 10 deal with Golden State. McMillian spent 2025/26 — his first professional season — with the G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors after signing an Exhibit 10 deal with Golden State last fall.
Los Angeles, which was 4-0 entering Saturday, was led by 2025 second-rounder Adou Thiero. The high-flying forward had 18 points (on 6-of-6 shooting), 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals in 26 minutes. Thiero, 22, converted a spectacular alley-oop in the fourth quarter (Twitter video link).

That was a pretty good Warriors summer league game. I hope they can shoot that well vs the grizzlies tonight.
Grizzlies have a tough team since that is about their starting lineup in the regular season. So it will be a good test for the warriors. Ike looks liek a guy they better offer a 2 way spot for because he might be the back uop tough center teh warriors need in case of injuries.
Ike was about the easiest call that teams would regret not even using a 2nd rounder on. Yeesh. For all the condescending talk about not having the knowledge that these ppl in nba front offices have, most of them are not smart ppl.
What is wrong with many GNs they try to hard finding the next great superstar instead of focus on drafting players that fit their system. OKC is an example of a GM that draft players that fit their system. That is why they are successful finding good players late in the draft.
I think you are missing a couple of things. I think Dunleavy has got type of player he is looking for. You look at the Santa Cruz players. They have all been older and bigger. They have less developmental time, plug and play. I don’t know how many of them will be stars. Hey, Jimmy started out at a JuCo. But, they’ll have more money for stars with a stronger bench.
Well obviously having 2 guys that started a bunch of games for them (Coward and Prosper) and ofc Boozer will be a starter makes them the favorites. I just hope we don’t leave Small and Mashack open from three, they killed us from the arc last game.
Warriors need to play Will Richard on Small to defend. The warrior second team plays very little defense. McMillan can scoe but poor defense. Olbrich will be healthy this game that helps in center position. Still they will be playing a more talented team so the 3 point shooting better fall for the warriors.
Philly? Unreliable roster, undeniable track record of injuries to a key player, and questionable cohesiveness and compatibility with new key players coming in.
Miami? Redundant with Giannis. They’ll be at each other‘s throats after a month and a half with “who’s the point guard on this team?” Serious skeleton crew and LeBron will have to do too much.
Cleveland? Even worse than Miami. Mitchell and Harden love the ball in their hands, so LeBron will be jogging up the court with nothing to do and waiting at the foul line extended. He won’t even make it to the corner as a spot up shooter because once he gets across half court, the ball’s already going the other way. (Side note.., Atkinson would be fired by Christmas in this scenario.)
This delay in signing has been because we were only waiting on the Worriors to unload Jimmy’s contract, but that proved impossible.
More recently they’ve been trying to find a taker for Moses Moody, who sucks, and that’s been equally difficult so they’re gonna just roll with it Tuesday.

Warriors want to wait til mid season to make a big trade once again. They want to see who’s healthy, lol. Lebron will have to trust Lacob. Besides, Lacob will provide all the luxury amenities for his family, not to mention Silicon Valley business connections.
I’m wondering why Lebron just doesn’t take like half a year off? It would honestly be the smart play, he can always just wait and see how teams develop and who doesn’t suffer season ending injuries.

I want to see Yaxel against Boozer. Those two are the future at PF. Imo tgere is a good chance Bron picks GS. I got it this way. Cavs , Warriors, Heat.
In their first match up Yaxel had the advantage on defense. Boozer is a big body so you are going to see his offensive numbers go way up during the season. He will be double teamed a lot which might lower his offensive numbers. Bron is going to 76ers. he wants another ring which GSW can’t provide.

Boozer was struggling with his shot the first time they matched up so lets see how he adjust. Boozer will only get better through out the season.

Yaxel will be the next generation warriors leader. You can tell when he is on the floor they have a leader. Curry will be passing the leadership to him in a few years.
