Jason Kidd Open To Nets Return

Free agent Jason Kidd says that he would be open to returning to the Nets this summer, writes Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.  The future Hall of Famer says that he likes owner Mikhail Prokhorov and the idea of playing in Brooklyn, but added that Deron Williams being there "is the key."

The 39-year-old and Williams are both represented by agent Jeffrey Schwartz.  Kidd said that he would be interested in backing up Williams in Brooklyn, a job that could conceivably be vacated by Jordan Farmar if he declines his player option for next season.  The point guard also said that he would like to re-sign with Dallas.

The veteran also expressed some interest in the Bulls, tweets Dwain Price of the Star-Telegram (via Twitter).  "I can’t rule out the Bulls. They’re a team that competes, that plays extremely hard and I could end up there, too," Kidd said.
