JULY 12, 8:28pm: The signing is official, the Cavaliers announced on their website.
JULY 2, 3:09pm: Kyle Korver has agreed to a new three-year, $22MM contract with the Cavaliers, tweets Shams Charania of The Vertical. The final season is only partially guaranteed, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com (Twitter link).
The 36-year-old came to Cleveland in a January deal and provided a needed outside threat. He averaged 10.7 points in 35 games and shot .485 from 3-point range.
The Cavs acquired Korver’s Bird rights when they brought him over from Atlanta, which is fortunate because they don’t have any available cap room to use to re-sign him. The 14-year veteran will get a nice raise from the little more than $5.2MM he made this season.
Several other teams expressed an interest in Korver, including the Pelicans and Bucks, but he decided to remain with the Eastern Conference champions and take another shot at a ring.

Lebron needs to stick around in the East, stop running to better situations man. The moment he stops giving guys evil looks(Love) he will get those guys playing for him. You did tell Kyrie “we’ll be back”, get revenge and don’t run to LA to make another superteam dude.
Well in his defense, its not like Love showed up in the Finals. But that’s just LeBron’s style, he holds his teammates, and himself, accountable for their failures/mistakes.

I honestly believe LeBron will go to Boston next year. Upcoming talented team filled with depth and great players coach. I’m surprised nobody has brought this up with PG13 getting dealt. It’s the best scenario to dethrone GSW.

This is the last signing they should do concerning offense the rest of the way should be defensive players the should sign thabo sefloshia, tony allen and try to get carmelo through a buy out if not trade love and they should get dwade too if he goes through with a buyout
