The NBA unveiled a batch of new jerseys in a promotional event Friday night, adding the Statement edition jerseys to the already revealed Icon and Association editions.
Marketing aside, the mass scale reveal of alternate jerseys is oddly satisfying, although many of the new threads have already been announced or leaked through various means over the course of the summer.
While some of the jerseys are more or less similar to third jerseys that teams have worn in the past, several are completely new designs, including Golden State’s new kit that pays homage to the city of Oakland.
Our question for tonight’s Community Shootaround is to simply gauge what readers think of the big reveal. Have a particular favorite? A least favorite?

Personally I like Portland’s jerseys the best. The bulls jerseys look exactly the same.
I thought the all-red looked pretty sharp as well.

For some reason I cannot get behind the C’s black alternate. Some teams look ok in them, I think Orlando’s is ok and Chicago’s is fine, but to me the C’s should always be rocking green and white. Chicago really should bring back the pinstripes though on that black alternate.
Portland’s seems to be either love it or hate it…. and I hate it. Reminds me of the NFL color rush jerseys.

The Kings alternate jerseys are only ok, but their alternate floor is really nice. The alt logo is great.
GS is cool. They’ll sell a lot of those I imagine.
Utah’s I don’t mind. I like that team’s are playing with orientation of logo and numbers.
Others: Sixers, BKLYN.
Everything else I was meh on.
I like the Kings’ look. Looks similar to Atlanta’s, which I have really liked the last year or 2. Agree about Boston needing to stick to green and the Bulls black jerseys look strange without the stripes. Not sure what to think about Minnesota. The green is very bright. Need to see it on the court to make up my mind.
–The darks worked better for GSW & OKC than for the Kings but I agree the new court looks good.
–Seems like the Milwaukee Buck should be a bit bigger but a good idea.

–When the big 10 started with 2 divisions, they were called Legends and Leaders. It did not catch on and is just East and West now. Statements, Icons, and Associations will follow the same path, but there will be new jerseys to name in three years so no matter.
