Paul George May Miss The Clippers’ “First 10” Games

Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has offered a little more insight into when Paul George might make his regular season debut for his new team, tweets Mark Medina of USA Today.

Rivers told reporters Saturday that George “is not going to be here for the first 10.” If that holds true, it would mean his first game will be no earlier than November 13 at Houston.

It’s the latest clue on the rehab plan for George, who still doesn’t have a set timetable for recovery after offseason surgery on both shoulders. George said late last month that he would definitely miss the team’s October games and was hoping for a return “in the November range.”

Sounds more like he’ll be back late November and miss 17-20 games.

When you get Kawhi the most fragile star in the league & PG13 another fragile star, that’s what happens, right?

Kawhi gets one major injury and now he’s the most fragile star? I can think of a few who struggle a little more.

Are you talking about when he decided to quit on the Spurs? I think the fragile part is his ego.

Man Kawhi plays 58 games a season, that is his average over 8 years, of which only in 2 has reached 70 games, sorry but can’t think of anyone with such a bad record of health…

I know how annoying it is when someone sticks to the facts, then you can’t argue against it, right?

The best team in LA will be decided by which team’s superstars play the most games. So LAC is down 10 games due to PG13 and LAL is dealing with an AD injury. Let the injury roulette and load management begin!

False. But Kawhi ended your season last year and outplayed Giannis when it mattered so the salt is expected.

May be so… And I think George will be affected for more than 10 games (BOTH shoulders??), and Kawhi’s legs aren’t done being troublesome.
Meanwhile James has had a long rest!

Can’t win playoff games in November but it is concerning if this continues into December. Clippers have a strong team, solid bench, so they should be alright for 12 games until Mr. Fragility gets it fixed….
