Thunder Sign Devon Hall

JUNE 28: Hall has been added to the roster as a substitute player, filling one of the Thunder’s 17 roster spots for the summer, the team announced in a press release.

JUNE 25: Having promoted Luguentz Dort to their 15-man roster, the Thunder intend to sign guard Devon Hall to fill their newly-opened two-way contract slot, reports Erik Horne of The Athletic (via Twitter).

Hall, who was on a two-way deal with the Thunder early in the 2019/20 season, was waived back in December, but remained with the team’s G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue. In 30 total NBAGL games (31.4 MPG) this season, he averaged 15.6 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and 4.1 APG on .455/.360/.860 shooting.

Typically, teams aren’t allowed to sign players to two-way contracts any later than January 15. However, given the unusual circumstances surrounding the interrupted 2019/20 season and the NBA’s return-to-play plan, the league is permitting the 22 clubs going to Orlando this summer to fill both of their two-way contract slots this summer for depth purposes.

Hall’s familiarity with the organization makes him a good fit as an insurance policy for the Thunder, who will be able to sign him anytime after noon on Saturday. He’ll get a rest-of-season two-way deal and will become an unrestricted free agent at season’s end.

    Schroder salary 15.5 million
    Adams Salary 27.5 million
    Gallo free agent

    Thunder are in rebuild

    What trade proposals?

Sign and trade Gallo to get assets

It will be much easier to trade Schröder, most likely to the Warriors.

Thunder are in such a rebuild they’re in 5th place in the west. They might end up keeping Gallo if he’ll sign again.

CP3 I don’t think they can move for another year.

Adams they will let play out his last year. If he’ll resign for much less he can stay, but I doubt he will.

Thunder are already loaded with picks for the future.

Warriors like big guard, not Schroder

    Maybe PF

Trade 17.2 million TE for Gallo

Gallo 4 years 89 million contract

    17, 19, 21, 23

GSW are desperate for a backup PG since Curry has played only 125 games over the last 3 regular seasons combined. He won’t last 82 games.

GSW needs a 5 not a 4. They would still have their weaknesses with Gallinari instead of Wiggins, but have lost a solid trade chip, and Dray does not want to be the 5.

The second bad idea of the page. And nobody signs players to trade them, it doesn’t work, it’s a desperation move.

Wiggins has to be moved To Cavs because of tax
Trade down to get new assets
        Drummond,Gallo,3 stars
        Kennard via Wolves pick
        Okongwu via trade down
        3 and D player via 2 Firsts

Future picks remaining next 3 years :6

Somewhere in all that is a Wiggins-Drummond trade, which matches, close in salary. GSW would have to give up a high pick though, since Drummond is FA in 2021 and Wiggins would have about $65mil left.

Well they can have McKinnie back. Tough selection for GSW after that. Osman, Nance & Love are too expensive for a team needing depth; heroball Sexton is not a fit; and Garland, Windler & Porter are too young to trade.

Think this S&T of Gallo to the Warriors is a great idea for another Championship run for both.
Gallo has said he’d sign for less for the right team. He may sign for the $17.3 first year with percentage increases on a 4 year deal.
