According to the CBA
Teams in the NBA can trade draft picks and even make trades involving players before the NBA Draft. Draft picks can be swapped, or teams can trade players as part of the deal.
Example
On May 15 (today)
Rockets can trade Smith to Nets for 8th pick
Clippers can’t trade Harden to Nets for 8th pick due to Harden player option
IM with DJ on his 2 part question about roster construction
TOO much fear mongering comes from this CBA
OKC fears bringing outside help in bc of Chet/JW exts
Denver- Has already been dismantled by current Cba
Boston- Fun while it lasted, sad
Knicks- Tapped , good team, but this is it, little chance to improve
Pacers- Are we really giving away Toppin to limbo the tax (this ones on Indy ) but still on theme
Cle- Already talking about a break up and too expensive due to Mobleys DPOY
Fear, theres a lot of GD fear ….at the top…. how’s that healthy?
Idk, I dont like it and I think it goes against the spirit of the game – Silvers got to protect that, its his one and only true job
