The NBA has announced three scheduling changes in the aftermath of last week’s postponed Wizards–Pistons game, according to a press release from the league.
Detroit was delayed in Dallas after losing to the Mavericks on Jan. 30. The Pistons were unable to return home until Thursday, one day after they were scheduled to play Washington.
That Wizards-Pistons game will be made up on March 7.
In order to ensure no team has to play three games in three nights, the Wizards’ March 6 home game against the Bucks has been moved to March 5. The Pistons’ home game against the Trail Blazers, which had been scheduled for March 7, will now be played on March 6.

Ironic that the planes these guys fly around in are the cause of the global warming that caused a weather event to delay the game.
Chandler Bing wants to know if it could be any more ironic…
Ummm…it was an ice storm. Hits the Deep South a couple of times a year. Global warming caused the ice storm? Please provide the facts to back up the claim.
Global warming doesn’t just cause higher temps, it cause more extreme weather events too.
Here ya go, cheesehead link to epa.gov
No, I know what global warming is. I’ve studied it quite a bit. How do you know it caused that particular ice storm? I mean, they’ve had some pretty bad winter storms in the past? What makes this storm different from other ice storms from previous years?
Lil – sorry, there’s just no way to blame this latest ice storm on global warning, no matter what the media tries to portray. Check out this article on the most historical ice storms which include many from 50 years ago. link to wunderground.com
Look I’m not telling you what to believe or not believe I’m just telling you you’re wrong
Yes cause Dallas has never had an ice storm ever since we started flying planes around……
