Many of the prominent players involved in trade rumors this season have been big men. That list includes stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis, Domantas Sabonis and Karl-Anthony Towns.
In addition to those four players, we'll take a look today at several other power forwards and centers who are candidates to be on the move ahead of the February 5 trade deadline. Let's dive in...

Nice article.
Regarding a potential Vucevic to Boston trade: his 21,5 million contract would fit nicely into the 22,5 million trade exception, creating a nice new 27,7 million exception for Boston.
But unless they can reset the luxury tax repeater clock afterwards or get a good pick in the proces, I don’t think Boston should move Simons.
They are 12,08 million above the luxury tac and would reduce payroll with 6,2 million in a Vucevic trade, leaving 5,9 million to go.
Trading Hauser would do the trick.
Curious if something more exotic like trading Garza, Minott and Boucher, keeping a minimum amount of players via 10-day contracts, signing pro-rated players on the buy-out market and going to the playoffs with 14 players could do the trick.
Garza, Minott and Boucher are combined 7,2 million. Dont think they could replace them with 1 million in salary, which means Tilman, Scheierman, Gonzalez, Queta or Walsh would need to be added as well, which makes that Hauser-alternative even more unlikely…
Hauser is under contract until 2029 at a fairly reasonable price. He shoots 40 percent plus from three every year and plays good D.
I don’t see him going anywhere.
