2012 Draft Picks By Team
With the 2012 draft order finalized, rumors have already started to swirl on which teams might trade in or out of the draft, or which clubs could move up or down. Teams that hold more than two picks are prime candidates to be involved in a draft deal — the Cavaliers, Warriors, and Trail Blazers, for instance, each have four picks, and figure to be at the center of trade rumors in the coming weeks. Nets Notes: Humphries, Garnett, Ilyasova, D-Will
It's been a rough week for the Nets, who failed to land a top-three pick in Wednesday night's draft lottery, reducing their leverage when it comes to a potential Dwight Howard trade. And speaking of Howard, the lottery results came on the heels of a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports that suggested the Nets' chances of re-signing Deron Williams may hinge on being able to acquire Howard. Following the Hornets' lottery win, ESPN.com's Chad Ford published his newest mock draft, which includes a handful of interesting scenarios, including Dion Waiters jumping to eighth overall and Austin Rivers slipping to 18th. Jim Buss “Very Disappointed” By Lakers’ Season
Lakers vice president of player personnel Jim Buss appeared on 710 ESPN Radio's Mason and Ireland Show on Thursday, expressing disappointment with his team's season (link via Dave McMenamin of ESPNLosAngeles.com). While conceding that he's never happy if the club fall short of a championship, Buss said he was "very disappointed" with the Lakers' season, and thought they "were a better team than this." Jerry Buss' son weighed in on a number of other topics as well, including the head coach, the draft, and star center Andrew Bynum. Here are a few of Buss' comments:

The Northwest Division's lone remaining team in the postseason, the Thunder showed last night that they weren't about to go down without a fight. In snapping San Antonio's win streak at 20 games, Oklahoma City made the Western Conference Finals a series again, and proved that the Spurs aren't quite as invincible as they seemed.
