OCTOBER 20: The Knicks have officially signed Hicks to a two-way deal, the team announced today in a press release.
OCTOBER 19: The Knicks are planning to sign forward Isaiah Hicks to a two-way contract, Shams Charania of The Vertical tweets. The North Carolina alum went through training camp with the Hornets earlier this month.
After going undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft, the Tar Heel will look to make an impression with the franchise bouncing between the New York squad and the Knicks’ G League affiliate in Westchester.
Once the move becomes official, both of the Knicks’ two-way slots will be filled, with center Luke Kornet occupying the other one.
Hopefully he can replace Baker, who looked like he couldn’t even play point on a middle school team in tonight’s game.

3 steals and 4 assists in only 23 minutes and Baker had a bad game ? I’d say he’s off to a good start . Maybe the Knicks go young and trade Lee and put Baker in the starting lineup . He’s a guy who makes the hustle plays and that’s what the Knicks sorely need . Reminds me of Mike Newlin a little bit . May not be quite the scorer that Newlin was but he definatly plays with a lot of energy …..
He had an awful game. He can’t dribble at all. Raymond Felton ripped him. RAYMOND FELTON!! He had 4 assists but also had 4 turnovers. He can’t run an offense either. Everytime he’s at pg, the Knicks shoot tough contested shots or give it to Kristaps to bail then out. Frank gets in the game and he finally hits KP in the post where he makes a great move. Ron is a Goodwill version of Delly. Baker should be the one getting 5 min, not Frank
And lets not forget his 3-8 shooting from the free throw line. Shaq even giggled at that.
Mike Newlin comparison huh… I agree. Ron Baker’s game is far more suited for the game 40yrs ago.
He looked terrible. I appreciate hustle but that doesn’t replace talent. This team isn’t winning the title – let’s get Frank these minutes and see what we have in him
