AUGUST 6: The Warriors have officially announced their deal with Bjelica, confirming the move in a press release.
Despite reportedly receiving interest from several other teams willing to offer more than the minimum, Bjelica said his decision to sign with Golden State took “less than a minute,” per Anthony Slater of The Athletic (Twitter link).

The Heat acquired Bjelica from the Kings at the trade deadline in March, but he played in just 11 games for Miami, averaging 5.0 points and 2.5 rebounds per night. He had been relegated to a bench role in Sacramento after being a starter for the past two seasons.
The 33-year-old gives Golden State another veteran shooting option as they try to move back into title contention. He had the best year of his NBA career in 2019/20 with the Kings, putting up 11.5 PPG, 6.4 RPG, and 2.8 APG on .481/.419/.821 shooting in 72 games (27.9 MPG).
The Warriors still have their taxpayer mid-level exception to make further moves, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, who reports that Bjelica’s deal will be worth the veteran’s minimum (Twitter link).

They added a couple player and get klay back. Still and old roster and don’t expect impact from rooks similar to wiseman. I was correct last year when warriors homers said warriors would be top 3 seed
Last year the Warriors finished 9 games out from 3rd. They wasted the entire 1st half before letting Curry just to go off by trying to get Wiseman comfortable. I think if Klay is back, even at 90% and Curry is allowed to go from the beginning it is worth 9 games.

It’s very clear that W’s are either waiting til next year OR mid season to make big trades(go all in) depending in their standings.
We all kinda forgot the fact that James Harden was available last year, and being how the NBA is how it is (pro-player controlling their fate), there will definitely be more superstars available once they figure out they don’t like the coach/owner/city/etc.
Lacob seems to be thinking “Spurs style rebuild while contending” but if there’s a guy out there who can make them back to a superteam again, they will most likely trade for him.

Yes you’re right but to be honest I really don’t know how that works still. The Warriors are way over the cap can they still do a sign-and-trade with Kelly oubre? I’ve even had Luke answer that question in a general sense and I still don’t get it LOL. Yes I’m slow.
Well if they did a sign and trade they could acquire a contract back, but more likely they do a 3 team and get a TPE to use later. Lots more teams besides OKC have used their space including NYK so odds of a S&T are going up since the cap room is mostly dried up on all but a few dumpster teams. Odds of resigning him for like 8M have gone up too since he might just not have a market outside of MLE offers.
