Let me get the conspiracy started by saying the league forced Dallas to trade Luka to LA as a James replacement, and they get Flagg in return.
1000%
NBA is rigged every time there is a big time #1 always the chosen teams get it. Its like do this to prop up lakers and wink Flagg is yours. Now you know why Nico ain’t crazy.
100%. If it was fair and not blatantly corrupt, Wemby would be playing with Cade in Detroit right now.
Please, educate yourself; it will help you link to en.wikipedia.org
So trade your franchise player and you get rewarded?
Only draft I wanna see at this point is hometown teams or if you live close to your hometown team they have first dibs to acquire you… lottery odds should only be for international players.
At 3 I want the Texas G Johnson. We need size and a guy who can get his own shot.
I like him alot. I think he will be much better than Edgecombe
Mavs will be the big story, but SA at 2 and Philly at 3 when they could have lost their pick all together are also pretty crazy.
on the one hand, the lottery system is so bad with the worst teams seemingly never getting the top picks… the Spurs have had ridiculous lottery luck getting the 1st pick 2 years ago and now getting the 2nd pick. Last year it was the Hawks that moved all the way up to 1st.
Otoh, it ‘should’ discourage tanking… these bottom feeding teams that go all in on the tank never land the top picks… it’s just a bad strategy to put all your eggs in that basket.
I think since even a 1.8 percent can get
Number one… all the teams from the best to the lowest should be given a chance now to get the number one pick. Coz obviously there’s no guarantee even if u tank all the way that you’re going to get the number one pick… right? Also, since teams with most money can just get the players anytime they like.
Rigged as usual
How did the Hawks end up with 2x 1st round picks?…I see what team they’re from but I thought they traded what they had for Dejounte Murray?
The Sacramebto pick is from the Kevin Huerter trade and the Lakers pick is from New Orleans via the Dejounte Murray outbound trade. Their own pick is owned by San Antonio via the original trade you referenced.
Ahh thank you, didn’t realize they ended up with the Lakers pick in the Murray trade. And the Huerter trade feels so long ago lol
Oh spare me the whining about the Mavs getting the 1st pick. There is no conspiracy. Look at Spurs getting Tim Duncan. Was that a conspiracy.
yes and getting Wemby too.. they tanked at the right time becomes much too suspicious or like trading star player for no reason to keep lakers at the forefront
@ Giants74
Mavs had a 1.8% chance.
A play in team getting the #1 sure looks suspicious.
surprised okc only has three picks
Nico ……. Executive Of the Year …. Luka who ??

If I’m spurs I trade this 2025 first round pick, 2027 pick and 2028 pick with Kendal Johnson, Castell & Sochan for Giannis
If I’m spurs I trade the 2025 first, 2027 pick, 2028 pick, Keldon Johnson, Vassell, Sochan for Giannis*
I think it will take more than that.
Truth is that’s some serious odds for Mavs to win. Only thing bothers me. Is Sixers getting a pick. Wish it would of went to Thunder……
The NBA won here. It fixed two damaged big market team. In ine draft. Both are now strong playoff teams NEXT year. We are not waiting for them to develop. Both are prime time NBA. This move is great for the League. The NBA product is stronger than ever. Two Franchises just got rebuilt overnight. Plus Spurs also get a huge lift. And are ready to compete next year ….. this is what happened.
The L just got better …….. Nico rules lols
I love it ……. Love this game. Knicks please don’t F.. up the night
It’s so easy to assume it was rigged but in my opinion the nba has nothing to gain by riggin a draft to the Dallas Mavericks. They are not a big market, they are not a big team, makes zero sense.
Also, the Mavericks still have a pretty good team, so also not a reason to give them the pick.
Dallas is the fifth biggest market in the NBA…
Well thats kinda questionable. First you are counting Knicks/Nets and Lakers/Clippers as one, so this would already move the Mavericks to the 7th spot. Also, a team like the Warriors clearly makes a lot more money to the nba than the Mavericks. So yeah, I disagree they are making the nba the 5th most money out of all teams. I would say Boston even makes more money for the nba than the Mavericks.
@Brabo
All the teams/markets you mentioned weren’t in the lottery (so the Mavs have the biggest market of the lottery teams), so what’s your point?
Nets were in the lottery.
Yeah, like it was said by ShaqFoo, the Nets were…
People are just mad they cant hate Nico as much anymore womp womp. All the fake Mavs fans mad they switched sides now and want to find excuses to justify it.
You can literally see the lottery drawing on youtube btw.
The Jazz got hosed. Danny Ainge not getting the * breaks” in SLC that he got in Boston. Going to be a long decade.
Jazz suck
So the Mavs blow up potentially the greatest backcourt in history in Luka/Brunson for absolutely zero reason, and gets REWARDED for it??
I guess DAL’s story was sad enough after all.
SAS and PHI getting ping pong ball picks is a tragedy, but it could have been worse. At least, UTH didn’t get rewarded for their embarrassing tanking.
Rigged, nuff said.
lol Utah and Washington. I guess there is always 2026 lottery, and 2027, and 2028.
76ers should lose their pick due to gross levels of tanking.
Draft Harper their backcourt is washed up.Slide PJ to the three. Harper is a smooth Lefty who creates as well as score.
Nets have 4 first round picks! That should be fun for their fans!
