Jalen Williams excelled in his second game back from a leg injury but apparently didn’t come away unscathed.
The Thunder‘s second-leading scorer aggravated the right hamstring strain that sidelined him for 10 games, Tim MacMahon of ESPN tweets. Williams will be reevaluated after the All-Star break.
Williams made a strong comeback on Monday, posting 23 points in 24 minutes against the Lakers. Williams was even more effective on Wednesday, racking up 28 points, five assists and four rebounds in just 20 minutes as Oklahoma City blew out Phoenix.
The 2025 All-Star and All-NBA Third Team selection has been limited to 26 games this season, averaging 17.5 points, 5.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 29 minutes per contest.

DuaKickflip wins this mini debate, rxbrgr. If you didn’t know, you’d probably think this guy, Jalen, has been in the league for a decade by the way he plays. Fun FUN player to watch – and just like with Aaron from Denver, it’s a shame we’re not gonna get to see enough of such a talented, multi-faceted young baller, with Bay Area ties (you better believe that’s where I came from), this season. GET HEALTHY FOR APRIL, Jalen and Aaron; the league needs you both.
Bro he is actually hurt with a couple injuries
The Thunder played 104 games last year. That takes a toll.
Didn’t watch the game but could be a useful excuse to not have him play back to back. They sat IHart today too so what is his reason.
My guess is last game before AS break they thought others could get win vs a bad team in Bucks and sat Jalen declared it a flare up.
They would be fined for Jalen and not Ihart so they gave an actual reason for him.
