The latest news and notes from around the D-League:
- Former Cornell center Jeff Foote, currently with the D-League's Springfield Armor, will be called up by the New Orleans Hornets, according to Eurobasket.com's David Pick (link via Twitter).
- Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears reports (via Twitter) that Kareem Rush has entered the D-League player pool. Rush last played with the Clippers in 2009.
Minor Moves: Gadzuric, Cavs, Ford, Tyler, Cousin

- Less than a week after signing with the D-League, Dan Gadzuric has already been traded, and will join the Texas Legends, tweets Scott Schroeder of Ridiculous Upside.
- The Cavaliers have assigned Christian Eyenga and Luke Harangody to the Canton Charge, the team's D-League affiliate, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer (Twitter link). It's the second D-League assignment this season for both players.
- Having finished his one-day stint with the Austin Toros, T.J. Ford has been recalled by the Spurs, the team announced today. Ford is returning from a torn left hamstring that has sidelined him for all but ten games this season.
- The Warriors have recalled Jeremy Tyler from their D-League affiliate, the team announced in a press release. Tyler played five games for the Dakota Wizards during his assignment, averaging 15.6 points and 7.8 rebounds in 28.8 minutes per game.
- Marcus Cousin, not to be confused with DeMarcus Cousins, has signed with Venezuela's Guaiqueries de Margarita, according to Sportando. The 6'11" Cousin appeared in four games with the Jazz last season.
Minor Moves: T.J. Ford
We'll round up any notable international and D-League-related moves here throughout the day:
- The Spurs announced they've assigned T.J. Ford to the Austin Toros for a one-day rehab stint. The Spurs' D-League affiliate doesn't play its next game until Thursday, so Ford will simply practice with the team before rejoining San Antonio on Tuesday. Ford tore his left hamstring earlier in the new year and has missed nearly two months of action.
Latest On Chandler, Sessions, Odom
Wilson Chandler, Ramon Sessions, and Lamar Odom have been in the news for a handful of reasons lately — one's a restricted free agent, one's a trade candidate, and one… well, it's hard to succinctly summarize Odom's current situation. Regardless, we have Friday updates on all three players, so let's round them up right here:
- Wilson Chandler: With the deadline to obtain an offer sheet from another team having passed, Chandler can only sign with the Nuggets if he wants to play in the NBA this season. Agent Chris Luchey tells Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post that he's still negotiating with the Nuggets, who are only interested in a multiyear deal. If the two sides don't reach an agreement, Chandler could sit out the rest of this NBA season and become a restricted free agent again in July.
- Ramon Sessions: Sessions' agent, Jared Karnes, tells Bob Finnan of the News-Herald that he and his client haven't asked the Cavaliers for a trade, though they're aware it's a possibility. According to Finnan, the Lakers and Hawks are the teams most interested in Sessions.
- Lamar Odom: As we heard yesterday, Odom will indeed join the Mavericks' D-League affiliate, the Texas Legends, before he returns to the Mavs. The team confirmed the assignment in a press release. According to Dallas president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson, the assignment was Odom's idea, writes Jeff Caplan of ESPN Dallas. The 32-year-old will work out today with Mavs consultant Tim Grgurich, then join the Legends tomorrow.
Minor Moves: Jerome James, Jamario Moon

- Jerome James has signed a contract to play with Puerto Rican team Caciques de Humacao, according to Sportando. The last we heard from James, a former NBA veteran, he was signing with the D-League.
- Jamario Moon, who signed with the D-League this week, has joined the Los Angeles D-Fenders, tweets Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.

- Josh Powell has signed with Swiss team Neuchatel, according to Sportando. Powell played most of this season in China, and was thought to be drawing some interest from NBA teams. He appeared in 54 games for the Hawks a year ago.
- The Timberwolves have assigned Malcolm Lee to the team's D-League affiliate in Sioux Falls, according to the team (Twitter link). It's Lee's second D-League assignment this season.
- Spain's Gran Canaria has signed Zabian Dowdell to a contract for the rest of the season, according to the team's website (hat tip to Sportando). Dowdell signed a pair of 10-day contracts with the Suns a year ago before the team brought him aboard for the remainder of the season. After appearing in 24 games in 2010/11, he was cut by the Suns prior to this season.
- Via Mike Trudell of Lakers.com (Twitter link), the Lakers announced last night that they've recalled Devin Ebanks from the L.A. D-Fenders, their D-League affiliate. Ebanks, who started four games for the Lakers earlier this season, had been assigned to the D-Fenders two weeks ago.
Jamario Moon Signs With D-League
Jamario Moon has signed with the D-League and will join a team when he clears waivers later this week, reports Scott Schroeder of Ridiculous Upside.
The 31-year-old Moon made his NBA debut in 2007 for the Raptors, and quickly became a regular fixture in Toronto's starting lineup. Moon also played for the Heat, Cavs, and Clippers over the course of his four years in the NBA. He was part of the deadline deal last season that sent him and Mo Williams to Los Angeles in exchange for Baron Davis and the first-round pick that eventually became Kyrie Irving.
A solid defender, Moon averaged 6.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 22.8 minutes per game for his career. His PER slipped in each of his four seasons, from 15.0 as a rookie to 10.1 last season.
Dan Gadzuric To Sign With D-League
Dan Gadzuric will sign in the D-League within the next few days, according to Scott Schroeder of Ridiculous Upside (via Twitter).
Gadzuric, 34, last saw NBA action in 2010/11 with the Nets, who acquired him from Golden State along with Brandan Wright in a deal for Troy Murphy. For the 6'11" Gadzuric, it was the second consecutive year he'd been traded — he and Charlie Bell were sent from the Bucks to the Warriors in exchange for Corey Maggette in June 2010.
In nine NBA seasons and 525 games, Gadzuric posted 4.7 points and 4.4 boards in 14.8 minutes per contest. A career year in 2004/05, when he averaged 7.3 PPG and 8.2 RPG in 81 starts for the Bucks, earned him a six-year, $36MM contract that he never lived up to.
Minor Moves: Wright, N’Diaye
The D-League All-Star game will be a part of festivities tomorrow in Orlando, and we'll track any news coming out of the lead-up tonight here:
- Julian Wright, the 13th pick in the 2007 draft, has signed a D-League contract and will be assigned to a team by Monday, according to Scott Schroeder of Ridiculous Upside. Wright hasn't played in the NBA this year after spending his first three years with the Hornets and last year with the Raptors. The 6'8", 225-pound small forward was a part of the playoff rotation in New Orleans when the Hornets pushed the Spurs to seven games in the conference semifinals in 2008, but never developed beyond that point. He's averaged 3.9 PPG, 2.3 RPG and 14.7 MPG in his NBA career.
- Schroeder says in the same piece that Hamady N'Diaye has signed with the D-League as well. N'Diaye was a second-round pick of the Timberwolves in 2010 who has spent time with the Wizards the last two seasons. He's played a total of 19 NBA games, averaging 0.7 PPG and 0.4 RPG in limited minutes. The Wizards waived the 7'0", 235-pound center earlier this month.

- Two weeks after being waived by the Warriors, Earl Barron has signed with the Meralco Bolts of the Philippine Basketball Association, according to Jeric Lopez of the Manila Standard Today. Hat tip to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, who are keeping tabs on the well-traveled former Memphis Tiger.
- The Rockets recalled Marcus Morris from their D-League affiliate, tweets Jason Friedman of Rockets.com. Morris, 22, only played limited minutes in three early games this season for Houston, but posted big numbers for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers during his two D-League stints, averaging 20.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in 30 minutes per game. The Rockets had assigned the 14th overall pick to Rio Grande on February 3rd.
