Tony Parker May Miss Olympics

After recently injuring his eye in a New York City nightclub, the Spurs may force Tony Parker to sit out this summer's Olympic games, according to the San Antonio Express-News' Mike Monroe

Parker will travel back from France to meet with San Antonio's team doctors on July 5th, and the All-Star point guard's participation in the Olympics will be dictated by how it goes. 

“Trust that we’re going to take advantage of the remedies that are available to us through the NBA’s agreement with FIBA to understand the severity of the injury and be involved in Tony’s prescription for recover from any injury," Spurs General Manager R.C. Buford said. 

France's first game will be held July 29th against the United States. 

"The decision is not mine anymore, it is up to the doctor and the Spurs," Parker said
