Mirza Teletovic Eyeing NBA

Bosnian forward Mirza Teletovic is expecting to make the jump to the NBA in the near future, according to his agent Misko Raznatovic. Emiliano Carchia of Sportando passes along and translates a report from Noticias de Alava in which Raznatovic says his client will play in the NBA next season, though his destination is yet to be decided.

We heard a week ago that Teletovic was drawing interest from the Nets, Knicks, Cavaliers, and Suns. The Noticias de Alava report suggests that the Nets and Cavs remain the most interested suitors for the 26-year-old, whose basketball future figures to become clearer after the NBA draft.

According to Sportando, Teletovic has agreed to a buyout with Spain's Caja Laboral, with whom he was under contract for two more seasons. Carchia puts the buyout amount at about $2.5MM USD, — if that number is accurate, Teletovic figures to be banking on a decent-sized NBA contract, which makes the Cavs and Nets, two teams with plenty of cap space, logical suitors.
