Atlantic Notes: Celtics, Sixers, Chandler, Lopez

With a few games into the second half of the season, the battle for the Atlantic Division crown and homecourt in the first round of the playoffs should only look to intensify over the next few weeks. The Celtics, riding a four-game winning streak, are only two games behind the Sixers for first place in the division while the Knicks remain just three and a half games out.     Really? A 29 year old center? Kaman is okay, but unless they’re just going to let his 14M expire at seasons end, I can’t see why they would want an older center going forward. As for Jeff Green, I hope he can recover well after his surgery and rejoin Boston as part of their rebuilding after the season. He will be a nice piece to have.

    That trade would make absolutely zero sense for Boston. Bass & Bradley are legit bench players and you’re going to see why when the knock the Bulls out of the playoffs.

    that trade is so stupid even if were we going for it all this year . kaman is good but not great. bass and bradley are just as good and younger. just a stupid trade.
